The inauguration of Barack Obama , the next January 20 in Washington, will be the first live event that the European Broadcasting Union (EBU-UER) to distribute high-definition signal to the television networks on the continent. As reported by the institution in a statement, the facilities used by its section in the United States, Eurovision Americas Inc., "will break all records." Thus, the organization put five cameras rotating on rooftops near the Capitol, 18 fixed cameras near the U.S. capital, and four studies with live connections to the square of the Capitol, where President-elect will make his oath. The multi-signal cover the inauguration and Obama's speech to be held at 18.00 am (Spanish time).
