The situation experienced this week in the markets can be clearly comparable to a roller coaster. While on Monday there was the biggest gain in its history, on Friday we could see the largest drop since October 2008.
Searching the internet blogs of old entries (status 2008) found this post that might resemble the vivid streaks this week.
We looked at the chart in October 2008 and May of 2010 and we can assess the similarity of the traces while the most recent occurring in a lower range but also in a shorter period of time.
Now the question is whether the coming months will target similar to those recorded in 2008/2009 or the uncertainty has nothing to do with living in the moment and therefore we can expect any trend in the short to medium term.
