During the first six months of the year 10,055 companies have been dissolved, 9.87% more than the same period last year when the figure was 9,152, according to statistics released today by Commercial Companies National Institute of Statistics (INE .)

Comparing these data with those of the first half of 2006, before they began to be felt the effects of the economic crisis, the change is triggered to 65.73% as in the first half of this year, only 6,067 companies were dissolved business.

Moreover, between January and June 2010 44,858 companies were created, 5.75% more than the same period last year and 45.78% than in 2006 when 82,728 companies had been formed.

In month terms, the number of companies dissolved in June was 14.1% lower than in May, while the number of births fell by 7.4%
